hi everyone.... I wanted to say 'hi' since i've been lurking on these forums for months now, and I got up enough nerve to be more than a voyeur and post a greetings.

Glad you liked the links farelfantasy. I just had to comment on your finding of the True Detective mags. When I was about 12 or 13 my father started a project to refinish our basement. During the summer months he would leave some tasks for me to do when he was at work, expecting that some progress would be made over the day. I however had found his stash of True Detective and other such mags in a few boxes he had stored down in the basement. Like an bee to honey. He never could understand how my mom would proudly report to him that I had worked 2-3 hours in the basement that day and yet when he would check on the work hardly anything had been accomplished in his estimation To this day I love the old cover art from those magazines!

I was sick of writing one of my massive assignments for uni, so I decided to come here.. sign up and waste time , alas, I didn't see this thread when I joined (too sleepy probably) and made a new thread (noobs introduce yourselves). oh well, i'll put the bulk of it in here too..

hmm... do i want to explain that? *makes mental note that MrStefans has a keen eye* Well..... i have all kinds of secrets from the people that matter to me the most. For me it's always been that most people see what they want to see, and believe what they want to believe.... if the picture is as pretty as they think it is, then it must be 'true'. Every facet of my life has some variety of secret... And to list them all out on a public forum has me filled with the worst kind of butterflies (not the good kind). heh i love my job, and if they knew what a dark little girl i was deep in side, i would most likely lose it. (Diversity- my ass).

My personal life is a myrad of secrets. And the funny part is... it just 'happens'. Poor excuse, i know...

For example, i wanted to join this forum, so i did. No one knows that i did. Not even my Master.... i'm not doing anything wrong, but it's still a secret-- my secret. i have different degrees of secrets... from very dark ones that i can barely whisper aloud to mild ones... i have very few from my Master... nothing disloyal, or distructive. my only defense is that i suffer from a bad case of 'good-girl' syndrome....

I take this opportunity to introduce myself to the group and what a fabulous group it is too having looked around briefly.

I guess I could start with mentioning that I'm almost as new to BDSM,
as I am to this forum and I have no R/L experience yet.

Thank you for the nice welcome I'm more comfortable with the title of submissive, as I feel that describes my situation more correctly. We do frequent another forum which has a subsection (no pun intended ) for BDSM. This place seems quite a bit more relaxing on first glance.

The collar looked simply beautiful, as was the other work I peeked at on the site. I have yet to be collared, so who knows, maybe we'll win the lottery and can get that for the occasion *nauraa* (see, there it is, the infamous *nauraa* )

How did we start? To be honest, I can't remember. Looking back I can't help but realise that the energy was there from the beginning. There was the playful wrestling where I'd end up under Him with my back against the floor (not alltogether unintentionally ) and my hands above my head. Not to mention the way he encouraged and prodded me and got me to say yes to things by gently pushing me. But how did we actually get into the real stuff? Slowly, very slowly...There was talk of being tied up, teased (including in public), spankings...slowly evolving into talk of Him doing those things to me, of me doing things to please Him...And then I was kneeling at His feet and getting writing assignments, netsearching assigments...and such. But as He said, we've yet to do things in R/L. And I am still very much taking babysteps in BDSM.
