I love this site and I know it is a labor of love for the person(s) who run things and time is limited and I appreciate your efforts but I do feel a bit compelled to suggest that story length requirements be enforced for new stories in order to maintain the quality of the collection.
I have noticed lately that the subjective quality and particularly the length of many new stories being posted is often not even a full page. I remember reading a 10,000 character minimum (~2 pages or so) as a requirement on the submission page and I keep seeing new stories being posted that are not even 5000 characters and are basically little more than a paragraph or two. Without getting into the subjective quality of those stories, the easiest way and the way most amenable to a technical solution is to enforce the length requirements before approving them. I know from experience that writing 2+ coherent pages is tough but I think it is necessary to maintain the high quality or at least the strong effort that goes into most of the stories on this site. 1 page "treatments" (and I am being generous here) are just diluting the rest of the collection.
