Dont get me started on the metal vs physical aspects of bdsm, when one is just as important as the other.

The human body...includes the mind, anything that consentrates on one to the exclussion of the other, looses 1/2 of its meaning in translation.

When you blindfold someone and confuse their sences you are confusing their body as well as their mind, so when they fall the few inches that their sences have been decived into believing is 10 feet high, the body reacts as if it if falling.

Like you can "imagine" all day long that your jumping out of an airplane while you sit and type at your keyboard...yet no wind will you feel in your hair, and no adreniline will you feel surge through your viens when you only sit and imagine it as opposed to doing it.

i think you missed the point. if someone shows you a knife, says they going to cut you. then blindfolds you or goes to area your body where you can't see them. then says here we go, i'm going to bleed you now. then drags a pin on your skin. wouldn't you think they cut you? all depends on how you do it. it works, I KNOW!! the imagination is a worderfull thing! but it needs a little help to get going.
