    and just in case anyone is a vegan or vegetarian, there is a replacement for leather called Lorica. my sub is a vegetarian and one of her limits is no animal products an be used. I am planning on attempting making some restraints and using Lorica instead of leather. and this is one of the ones i think ill make. thanks for the help

    You could also use thick rubber the same way - if you don't have a source of rubber sheet, cut up the side of a welly boot. It handles about like thick leather but the stitch holes are more prone to tear.
