Quick stats from the chat list

Hello E/everyone,

I think it would be helpful to see a gender and role by simply hovering over a nick in the chat list. Often times I can not tell by a name (upper case vs lower case) and I used to be really bad about checking out profiles, and I still am *smiles* doing better but not there yet! Sometimes, chat is so busy I don't like to leave to look at a profile either. I have also felt hesitant to look at some too, at times.

Does anyone feel this would be a plus? Or, would it deter from actually reading or looking at a profile?

If this could be pulled from a users profile it may also cause more to actually fill one out!

My thoughts were to keep it simple ~ just gender and role.

I can't see it being terribly harmful, tho I think it might stop some from scanning the profile. I find profiles easy to access, and useful- and if I am interested enough in a person to be curious at all, it's no real trouble. If I'm not interested, I don't care what 'role' they may assume, or even their gender, really...lol.

I for one would like the quick stats. Sometimes the chat is flowing fairly quick and it would be nice not to have to click out of the window to find the info on a profile. If I gel with that person, I'll definitely go to their page and browse when I'm done with chat, but it would be nice not to have to try and catch up because I was looking else where.

I concur as well - I think it would be a plus and I don't think it would hinder me visiting a profile in addition to find out more
